1. A belief that an opportunity should exists is to have a device that would measure how much pesticides a produce may have.
2. Whenever we go to a supermarket and we buy fruits or vegetables we believe they are healthy, but in reality they aren’t and they may contain a lot of pesticides that may be bad for us on the long run. This device will help us measure how much pesticides a certain produce may contain and from this measurement we can see how healthy a certain produce may be. This idea has been thought out before, but since it is so expensive not that many people have been able to actually create it. Scientist are trying to find a way to make it work in order for the idea to exist and it won’t be as expensive.
3. One of the prototypical customer: Itza Garcia, a senior in the University of Florida studying Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience.
4. Itza:
The nature of the need is that pesticides have been linked to cancer and diabetes.
People have realized the need when educated about the repercussions or after they have developed a disease/condition. If people are taught about this problem they can prevent it and live a healthier life. People need to start realizing the problem of this and by this device people can be more aware of the things they are intaking and they can be healthier.
5. What I learned in this opportunity is that I knew pesticides were bad for us, but I never knew it was linked to cancer and diabetes. Itza made a good point about people should be more aware about these things and what they are intaking.

3. The second prototypical customer: Kelly Sutter, a sophomore in the University of Florida also studying Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience.
4. Kelly:
Throughout the country there are a lot of companies that lie in what is in our food and we need to figure out what is healthy. I became aware a few years ago, I started looking more at the food I was intaking and I wanted to try eating a healthier life. Now every time I eat I read at the food labels. I think this device will be beneficial and it will help a lot of people.
5. In this opportunity Kelly made a good point about how companies do lie about their product and we have to be more aware about this. The pesticide advice will help us as a whole and understand what exactly we are eating.
3. The last prototypical customer: Pablo Valencia, a junior in the University of Florida, studying Finance with a minor in innovation.
4. I have lived in Gainesville all my life and my family and I grow our own crops and we have compared our crops to the produces that we buy in a normal supermarket. We have noticed a huge difference in terms of healthier and more natural. The produces people buy in supermarkets have so much pesticides that in the long run it is unhealthy. With this product we will be able to detect how much pesticides the produces contain and it is very beneficial. People are trying to eat healthy by buying healthy foods, but in reality it is bad for us because of the many pesticides that companies put in the crops. With this product we are able to detect it and it a healthier lifestyle and know what we eat.
5. In this opportunity I was able to compare how homemade grown produces and supermarkets produces are. This is very interesting, because we don't really know the difference until it is shown in front of us or we have stats showing that it is bad for us.
7. Summarize:
Even after the three interviews I believe that this pesticide device is beneficial and it something that should be made so everyone is aware how many pesticides a produce that they’re buying contains.
Yes, I do believe that my new opportunity is more accurate than when I started because before it was a thought of a device that would be interesting to measure pesticides in produce. Then, when I started talking to people I realized that this an idea that should be made and the answers I got were interesting and everyone liked the idea.
I believe entrepreneurs should ‘adapt’ their opportunities based on customer feedback, because it is important to see what may be the outcome of the opportunities. If you have an idea you should share it and see if people would like the idea, because if you invest in an idea and no one likes it then all your investment went down the drain.
