This time I read "The Art of Social Media: Power Tips for Power Users", by Guy Kawasaki
1) What was the general theme or argument of the book?
-The general theme of the book is that even though in today’s society we use social media in an excess amount of time, social media this way can determine the success of your business or idea. Social media can influence success on a business and help it grow in today's society.
2) How did the book, in your opinion, connect with and enhance what you are learning in ENT 3003?
- This book connected with I am learning in ENT 3003, because it overall taught me how important marketing and advertising is in a business model. It also taught me that social media helps as well to make a business grow and it is a tool used for accomplishing a goal.
3) If you had to design an exercise for this class, based on the book you read, what would that exercise involve?
- If I had to design an exercise for this class about the book I read. Since the book talked about how social media affects a business model then I would put and example of a social media post and then interpret it and see how that sample may or may not help a business.
4) What was your biggest surprise or 'aha' moment when reading the book? In other words, what did you learn that differed most from your expectations?
- Overall the whole book was about the different ways how social media has benefitted a company I felt like this was just very interesting and also seeing the different types of ways social media is beneficial to a company.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your third reading reflection post as I read this book for my second reading reflection assignment. I also thought it was interesting to see how businesses use social media to their advantage for marketing and advertisement purposes. I like the assignment that you thought of as one post on social media can really help or really hurt a business, so it is very important that what is being posted is really monitored. Great post!
